Dryer Vent Cleaning Invoice Template

A free one-page form for dryer vent cleaning jobs. Tick Quote, Invoice or Receipt at the top, so the same sheet covers the estimate, the bill and the proof of payment.

Download the invoice template (PDF, 1 page) →

Free to use for your business. No email, account or subscription. Print it, or open it in a PDF editor and type into it. Add your own logo, prices and terms.

What is on the template

  • Document type. Quote, Invoice or Receipt, with a number, date and due date.
  • Customer and property. Who pays, where the work was done, building or unit, service date and technician. Property managers often need the unit and a PO number to approve payment.
  • Work and charges. Ten lines for description, quantity, rate and amount, then subtotal, discount, tax, total, amount paid and balance due.
  • Payment. Cash, check, card, bank transfer or other, with the date paid and who received it. With Receipt ticked, this section is the customer’s proof of payment.
  • Notes and terms. Room for warranty wording, quote expiry and payment terms.

Line items that make an invoice easy to approve

A single line that says “dryer vent cleaning” invites questions. Customers, landlords and HOA boards pay faster when each charge says what it was for. Common lines:

Typical dryer vent cleaning line items
Line itemHow to write it
Standard cleaningDryer vent cleaning, one dryer, up to the length your base price includes (for example “up to 15 ft”).
Extra lengthAdditional vent length beyond the base, quantity in feet, rate per foot.
AccessRoof termination or second-story access, as its own line.
Blockage removalBird nest, rodent nest or packed lint removal, with where it was found.
InspectionVent inspection or camera inspection, if you charge for it separately.
PartsTransition duct, vent cover, bird guard or damper, quantity and unit price.
Trip or after-hours feeOnly if it was agreed before the visit.

Not sure what to charge for each line? The dryer vent cleaning pricing guide walks through base prices and add-ons using published cost data.

Quote, invoice and receipt: when to use which

  • Quote before the work, when the customer or a property manager needs a price to approve. Write an expiry date.
  • Invoice after the work, for what was actually done. If the job changed on site, the invoice should match the work, not the quote.
  • Receipt once paid. Fill in the payment method, date and amount paid, so the balance due is zero.

Use the same number on the quote, invoice and receipt for one job, so all three can be matched later.

Attach the proof of work

An invoice says what you charged. A service report shows what you found and did: before-and-after photos, airflow readings, and anything you could not reach. Sending both cuts down on “was this really needed?” calls. Use the free service report template on paper, or the free report generator to make a PDF with photos in your browser.

Want it done on your phone?

VentProof for Android keeps each visit’s photos, findings, readings and customer sign-off together and produces a branded customer PDF report in the field. It does not replace your invoicing tool; it gives the invoice its proof.
